DAY 2 PRIVATE TOUR BASTOGNE AND WATERLOO
Meet with your guide and driver in the hotel’s lobby. Via green landscapes of the Ardennes we reach Bastogne . Visit of the Mardasson, a private museum at Langlain, site of the battle of the Bulge and an American cementery at Henri Chapelle.
Depart from Bastogne to Waterloo . We proceed to the famous battlefield of Waterloo . During the stop on the battlefield, we'll see the historical farmsteads as well as the monuments erected by the Nations that participated in the battle. Then stop at the Panorama-painting and the visitor's centre with an audio-visual reconstruction of the battle.

Further by car we discover sites like the Royal Square , Sablon area, Palace of Justice , Royal Palace , European Union Buldings, Atomium, Chinese Pavillon, Japanese Tower and Royal Castle of Laeken…. While visiting the city, have the chance to discover a less known Belgian patrimony : the Art Nouveau. After maximum 1 hour drive we will make our first stop in Dinant for a panoramic visit: The Cathedral with its strange top, the citadel, the Bayar roc, the Freyr castle,… We will then take the direction of Namur through the mosan valley. In Namur you will have time for a lunch (not included) before starting the panoramic visit of the city. We will see the Cathedral st Loup, the old part of Namur with its architectural patrimony from the 18th century, the citadel (optional visit inside: supplement) or free time for shopping. Depart in the morning, at about 09.00am from the hotel Royal Windsor. Today our driver/guide will show you two beautiful cities and known all over the world. It will be a long day of walking as cars and busses are not allowed in the centres to preserve the beautiful architecture. Our first stop will be in Ghent for a panoramic walking visit which includes the Saint Bavo Cathedral with the Mystic Lamb painting (closed on Sundays) and the historical centre with the Belfry and the Castle of the Earls. After Ghent you will see the city called 'The Venice of the North'… Bruges . After an optional lunch you will have a panoramic walking visit of the historical centre including the grand Place, the Burg and Our Lady Church, the Holly Blood Chapel and the Beguinage. The visit of Bruges will end with a boat tour on the canals (subject to availability as there is no boat tour during winter time or when it is raining). Around 04.30pm we will go back to Brussels .Your evening will be free in Brussels which is full of restaurant from all over the world.
Day 4 :
Day at leisure in Brussels to discover on your own the museums, the monuments, the bars and cafés,… but do not forget the shopping!!!!!! Brussels is full of shops for all the budgets!!!!For the evening we will book a table for you at the restaurant AU COMME CHEZ SOI (or similar if closed). This is a deluxe Art Deco style restaurant situated in the city centre. A very well-known place in Brussels , where politics and artists are regular clients. Day 5 :
Our driver will ask for you at the reception of the hotel for your transfer to Brussels International Airport . COUDENBERG : FORMER PALACE OF BRUSSELS The palace of Brussels was built on the Coudenberg hill during the second half of the 11th century and was subsequently rebuilt, extended and improved in line with the increased prestige of the Dukes of Brabant, then the dukes of Burgundy, the emperor Charles V and finally the Archdukes Albert and Isabel. The beauty of this palace, which was the seat of central power over six centuries, the charm of its gardens and the wealth of its art collections attracted visitors from all over Europe . This prestigious monument was unfortunately destroyed by a huge fire in 1731 and disappeared when the district was redeceloped after 1775. A fascinating walk beneath the place Royale offers you the opportunity to discover the remains of this illustrious palace, unjustly forgotten by history.

Visit Bruges in a special way : use your imagination to discover the city like if you were one of those rich merchants coming from Germany or Italy to make some business in Bruges back in the 16th century... Of course, through the walk, you will discover the important monuments of the city and you will be able to taste some biscuits from Bruges , some chocolates, typical products ... and visit a brewery. Lunch in the Restaurant MAXIMILIAAN VAN OOSTENRIJK : A nice old typical superior tourist class restaurant, with Burgundian style interior, situated in the centre of Bruges , next to the Princely Beguinage and the romantic Lake of Love . Leave Bruges around 16h30 as to arrive Brussels at about 18h00.
In the evening, transfer to your gala dinner at the BELGIAN COMIC STRIP MUSEUM : The Belgium Comic Strip Museum is situated in the city centre. The building where the Museum is located, has been designed by Victor Horta in Art Nouveau style and it was former a store. The place is interesting both for architecture and culture ! The Museum will be rented for your group only, of course. We propose you to have a short guided visit of the Museum while enjoying your aperitif drink. During the dinner a DJ will offer you some atmosphere music ending the evening with the President’s speech and a glass of Champagne … For those wanting to celebrate, we propose you to end your night at the GRIFFINS Night Club situated in the old city centre, close to the Grand'Place.
